The letter of appeal must be submitted to the Chief Editor, along with valid reasons for requesting reconsideration. The case will be referred to the Editorial Board, which will make recommendations in the light of core practices of COPE, guidelines, and policies of WAME, reviewing the author's arguments and the reviewers' comments. The report will be forwarded to the Chief Editor, who will make the final decision. The appellant will be informed of the final decision, with an explanation if necessary

Complaint Policy

Authors, reviewers, readers, or any individuals may submit complaints to the Chief Editor. The complaint will be submitted formally via the official email address.editors@researchsummit.org. The Chief Editor will assign the Editorial Board to investigate and make recommendations in accordance with COPE guidelines. The recommendations will be considered for the final decision by the Chief Editor. The complainant will receive a response within two weeks of submitting the complaint. The complainant will be informed if more time is required to resolve the matter. If the complainant disagrees with the final decision, they may escalate the complaint to COPE.

Research summit views complaints as opportunities to improve. Complaints are always welcome and are treated as a priority. However, the Research Summit encourages authors, reviewers, and readers to review the policy documents, guidelines, and editorial process before initiating any complaints.
