Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism refers to "stealing or copying” of scholarly/ scientific content from someone else's work or from one's own previously published work (self-plagiarism). A common form of plagiarism is the copying and pasting or misuse of scholarly material, including substantial portions of someone else's or one's own work. Content submitted for publication without proper and clear acknowledgment or attribution is also considered plagiarized.
Research Summit strictly adheres to COPE guidelines and follows the criteria/guidelines defined by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and ICMJE.
Screening:
All the submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism through “Turnitin's Software” before consideration for the peer review process.

Publication Misconduct for Plagiarism:
In terms of plagiarism, publication misconduct is dealt was follows:
· The corresponding author is asked to submit the written explanation within two weeks. In case of unsatisfactory response, the matter will be referred to Editorial Board.
· If plagiarism is found during the peer process, the article will be rejected.
· If plagiarism is found after publication, the article will be retracted from the journal’s website by publishing a correction or erratum, and authors will be blacklisted for 2 years or more, depending upon the gravity of the misconduct.
· The institutional head, HEC, PMDC, and other editorial associations may also be informed of this misconduct.
