Data Sharing Policy
The authors are encouraged to share the data of their research. This increases the transparency and reliability of the research work. The data can be submitted to the Research Summit in the following forms:
· Raw or processed data files (SPSS or Excel files)
· Software
· Codes
· Algorithms
· Protocols
Research Summit encourages the authors to submit the data to a data repository like Mendeley Data (available at www.data.mendeley.com). This is a free website that creates a DOI of the data, which becomes citable and can also be linked to the associated articles, making it easy for readers to find, use, and re-use.
If the authors do not want to share their data, they can submit a statement along with reasoning for not sharing the data. An example of a statement is as under
Due to the sensitive nature of the questions asked in this study, survey respondents were assured raw data would remain confidential and would not be shared.
