Conflicts of Interest / Grant Support and Financial Disclosure Policy

Based on ICMJE and COPE guidelines, Research Summit has developed the following policy:

Conflict of interest:

It is defined as “when a participant in the publication process (author, peer reviewer, or editor) has a competing interest that could unduly influence (or reasonably seems to do so) their responsibilities in the publication process.”

Financial Conflict Disclosure:

Financial conflicts may arise when authors have financial or personal relationships with individuals, companies, or organizations that may inappropriately influence (bias) their work.

If there are no conflicts of interest, authors should indicate in the Conflict of Interest Declaration form available on the website during manuscript submission.

Financial Support/Grants or Funding:

Authors: The authors are responsible for disclosing all sources of grants received and how the funds were utilized during the research. Forms of financial support include grants, honoraria, credits, promotions, memberships, or any personal or professional relationships that may appear to influence the manuscript. In such cases, where financial support/funding or grants are utilized, the authors must take responsibility for the originality, integrity, and accuracy of data.

If there is no conflict of interest or financial involvement, authors should complete the 'No Conflict of Interest' and 'No Financial Support' declarations, available on the website.

Reviewers: Reviewers must also disclose any potential conflicts of interest or financial involvement.

Publisher:  The journal publishes all relevant conflicts of interest, grant support, and financial disclosures alongside the published manuscripts.
